Love in the Lesson

I touched heaven when we kissed
My body stood still and my soul
Flew away to a place of perfect love
Where my spirit lives trapped in bliss
Awaiting my body to come along
And release me from this haven
Where I reside alone-- for years now
Loving a fantasy that was never true
Never could be or will be in this world
If I had a say in this I would of quit you
Long ago-- before I grew addicted to this
To the lesson I`ve been sent here to learn
To give all I have to love--and let go
